Small Arms

The most commonly issued small arms in the UNF arsenal, going from top left to bottom right:

M5 "ArmorCheck" Sniper Rifle: firing 10mm API rounds from an 8-round magazine, the Bullpup layout allowed for an incredible 900mm barrel length providing supreme accuracy and range.

M-06 Type SMG: firing 10mm Auto, tungsten-cored AP rounds from a 30-round magazine, compact design and large caliber rounds allowed for close range stopping power unrivaled by other SMG models, even against lightly armored targets.

M-06 Type LMG (Squad Support Weapon): firing 6mm LDAP rounds from either a belt, or 20-round magazine, utilized a modified M-06 body to cycle rounds and get them down range at a ripping 1600 rounds per minute. Due to the high fire-rate, the barrel was infused with a ceramic alloy that dispersed heat rapidly enough to prevent dangerous melt downs during battle.

M-06 Type Battle Rifle: firing 6mm LDAP rounds from a 20-round magazine, this was the base model of the popular M-06 receiver-set, and provided soldiers with an easily maintained weapon with exceptional accuracy and grit.

Type-2 Static Rifle/Carbine: firing burner rounds of a solid fuel and metal-alloy mixture to briefly conduct an electrical current along the exhaust trail and deliver a deadly electric pulse of about 800 milliamps into the targets bloodstream from an ND-ELEX battery stored in the stock of the gun. With the realization that Martian infantry were issued neurostabilizer drugs to minimize pain and other potentially dangerous mental states during battle, the UNFBSR developed this weapon to insure an instant kill for special operatives.

Ten-Auto Compact: firing 10mm Auto, tungsten-cored rounds from an 8-round magazine, this sidearm delivered enormous hydrostatic shock and penetrative stopping power due to its high-caliber, armor-piercing ammunition.

30mm Grenade Launcher: firing a single 30mm grenade before reload was required, this grenade launcher could deliver an explosive package where a bullet wasn't enough firepower. Designed for standard UNF weapon rail systems. Able to use any standard 30mm grenade munition.

30mm Automatic Grenade Launcher: firing 30mm grenades from a belt at about 400 rounds per minute, this powerful weapon was made to combat armor, emplacements, and low flying aircraft, though its devastating effects against soft targets were certainly not overlooked. Able to use any standard 30mm munition types, including HE-AP, HE Thermite incendiary, Copper-core slugs, Tungsten flechette bundle, Smoke rounds, Flares, and Multi-Stun EMP, as well as UNF MILSPEC RAP high velocity variants.

New-Generation "Surly" Smart Rocket Launcher: firing 60mm HE-AP impact or variably timed rockets, this smart guidance system functioned similarly to past models in that the launcher locked on to a specified electrical, heat, or vibration signature and once fired, would automatically climb to high altitude and then come down on the target, passing terminal velocity to deliver the payload through concrete, earth, or steel for utter annihilation.
